Tick tock, tick tock––time to get your summer on, ladies! Crisp air, fall leaves, and all the rest are right around the corner. Don’t let a urinary tract infection (UTI) get in the way of making the most of the last warm days of the year. Your friends at AZO offer a complete line of products to help maintain ongoing urinary health, identify the onset of a UTI, and manage its symptoms. Because what’s great weather without friends? And what’s a friend but someone who is always on your side, looking out for you?

Cranberries and the Urinary Tract

It’s not November yet, but who says cranberries are just for Thanksgiving? Other fruits may share similar antioxidant properties, but cranberries are special. They’re packed with uniquely structured phytochemicals—the fancy name is ‘proanthrocyanidins’ (or PACs for short)—that have been shown to help reduce the number of bacteria that adhere to and multiply on the lining of the urinary tract. Like a summer pool slide, bacteria just keep on sliding!1

But cranberry juice can have a lot of sugar, and who wants to carry around a bag of cranberries all day long? AZO offers lots of alternatives––AZO Cranberry® Gummies, Caplets or Softgels all come packed with Pacran®, a super-concentrated whole-cranberry powder that gives you ongoing urinary tract support without the bloat from drinking a lot of cranberry juice.*

Use an At-Home UTI Test

Itching, cramping, pain or burning when you urinate, cloudy or stinky pee––these are some of the symptoms of a UTI. If you suspect you may already have a UTI, don’t waste time wondering. Take an at-home UTI test and call your doctor with the results. AZO Test Strips® are the same type of test that many doctors use. They test for both leukocytes (white blood cells) and nitrites in urine, the two primary indicators that physicians use to diagnose a UTI. The clean grip handle is sanitary and easy to use. It takes only a couple minutes to show results and it is information that your doctor, nurse practitioner or physician’s assistant will want to know when you meet with them.

Control the Urinary Tract Infection

If you do have a UTI, you’ll want to get on the defense ASAP. Your physician may prescribe antibiotics, but in the meantime, don’t let that infection get any worse. AZO Urinary Tract Defense® stabilizes the pH of your urine to help control the infection until you can see your doctor. And why suffer? AZO Urinary Tract Defense®is equipped with a general pain reliever to help manage pain symptoms that come with a UTI, too.

A good friend is good. A bunch of good friends is great. Think of AZO as a bunch of good friends. AZO products provide clinically-proven help in managing ongoing urinary tract health, detecting a UTI or controlling the infection itself until you meet with your physician and decide on a course of treatment.*
