Vaginal Health
Keeping your vagina in happy harmony
The vagina is home to millions of bacteria and yeast – sounds weird, but it is perfectly normal. When the vaginal microbiome is in harmony, the vaginal pH is of low (healthy pH is about a 4) and in this environment your vagina is less susceptible to issues. If stress, periods, sex, or even certain medications rock that balance, yeast or bacteria have an opportunity to overpower the harmony and creating a welcoming environment for some unwanted visitors.
Check out our education content for tips on maintaining your vaginal microflora, learning about vaginal infections, and—should the not-too-pleasant happen—treating vaginal infection symptoms like vaginal odor and vaginal itching.
